Bajau Indo
Pioneer Floating Structures
Bajau Indonesia is a marine engineering company pioneering modular floating solutions across tourism, industry, and environmental sectors. Their products range from floating cottages and restaurants to pontoons, catamarans, and automated trash-collecting boats. As Bajau prepared to expand its reach, the company needed a way to communicate its innovation through storytelling, showing not just what they build, but what they enable. The goal was to translate complex marine engineering into an inspiring narrative that could engage investors, partners, and the public alike.

Turning Innovation Into Story
Turning Innovation Into Story
Bajau had strong technology but limited visibility. Its products were impressive, yet the story behind them wasn’t reaching the right audience. We developed a strategy centered on storytelling through motion, creating a 3D company profile video that could work as a flexible communication asset. It would be used by Bajau’s marketing team, showcased at national maritime exhibitions, and distributed online to build awareness.
The goal was to humanize technical engineering through design, showing how Bajau’s innovations empower people, communities, and the environment.

Built on the Power of Modularity
The creative direction stemmed from Bajau’s core innovation: the pontoon. As the foundation of every Bajau product, the pontoon represents flexibility and adaptability. We turned this modular idea into the visual backbone of the 3D design system. Each product: floating hotel, restaurant, dock, aquaculture cage, trash collector, and lifeguard rescue boat, was modeled and animated to demonstrate transformation and purpose.
The design language emphasized realism, precision, and environmental harmony, mirroring Bajau’s balance between technology and sustainability.

Floating Ideas That Drive Real Change
Floating Ideas That Drive Real Change
The 3D company profile video became Bajau’s most powerful marketing tool, helping them communicate vision with clarity and emotion. Within months of launch, Bajau secured more than ten new projects, including floating vessels for Kebun Raya Bogor, a floating restaurant in Ancol, and several custom pontoons for eco-tourism and environmental use by government.
The collaboration also led to a youth-driven initiative that turned Bajau’s floating systems into river trash barriers and automated waste-collecting boats, supporting Indonesia’s sustainability goals. The project not only expanded Bajau’s reach but redefined its role, from a marine manufacturer to a leader in sustainable water innovation.

"We started with only a prototype ship built from our USP product, the pontoon modular. Michael and his team transformed our vision into reality through impactful 3D design and motion, helping us showcase our products with clarity and confidence. Their creative approach not only elevated our brand image but also strengthened Bajau’s position and visibility among business owners and investors across Indonesia."
