With construction of Megamall 2 under way, the brief called for a family‑first identity that resonated with local shoppers, attracted national tenants, and recast the complex as a modern icon for North Sulawesi.

A Vibrant Identity Inspired by Manado’s Spirit

A Vibrant Identity Inspired by Manado’s Spirit

Drawing inspiration from Manado’s turquoise waters, lush hillsides, and golden sunsets, the new identity centers on a fluid gradient that signals energy and warmth. A wave‑shaped “M” logo captures both motion and continuity, reflecting the mall’s dual focus on commerce and leisure.

Wayfinding became a core deliverable: a bold, color‑coded system guides visitors seamlessly through Megamall 1 and 2, while fresh typography and modular layouts ensure consistency across digital, environmental, and retail touchpoints. From façade banners to parking signage, every asset was re‑engineered to create an intuitive, elevated guest experience.

The refreshed identity signaled progress to business partners and the community alike, re‑establishing the complex as Manado’s most complete, contemporary shopping destination.

Beyond retail, the new Megamall brand now champions family moments, everyday convenience, and regional pride, anchoring the mall as a lifestyle hub at the center of the city’s growth story.
